Is an object hidden within clothing/gear affected by invisibility, visible?

I would go with description based on the results of stealth.

If you won your stealth, you shake your body with the snow to keep it falling so it looks natural. If you fail, the snow disappears as it hits you, leaving an obvious “gap” in the snowfall.

I have it that a picked up object fades over the course of a round. A dropped object appears over the course of a round.

It's worked for us tolerably well. It makes grappling interesting.
 

This issue is about as much as a slam dunk as you are going to see in rules debates, the rules really are crystal clear.

The fact that many disagree either shows that rules language is just not a good way to deliver context, because the variability of understanding is so wide....or simply that people play the way they want regardless of what the rules say.
