Carrion watches the more scientific minds in the group come up with a plan for his size problem, feeling useless and little like a nuisance.

"Come on, the trouble of bringing you there worth it, I am quite sure. Now, I'll go with Thurston. We will surely need to adapt a few hing on his gadget so i can feed it with my power. Sir, if teh briefing is finish, i will not waste any more time." He ask Lt. Steele.

"Kurtalan doesn't have an airport. Your flight arrives in Ankara, so if you want to go to Kurtalan, you may have a while to go. We rented you a van though, and it's big enough for Carrion to squish in. Does anyone know how to drive stick?"

"As for powers, don't use them in the open until after you've found the terrorists. The idea is to not let them know you're there ahead of time. Once you've found them, of course, don't hold back."

"I'm a little slow here, but do we have a contact to meet? Surely we aren't just going to walk around and try to get to the bottom of this with tourist level Turkish.", Gremlin asks.

OOC: I'm not sure where to go other than Turkey. Do we need to keep asking questions?

"We don't have a contact there, another reason Perseis would be useful, as she speaks Turkish. However, at the least Rowe can translate things with his translator, as he did with that letter. Very well, you're dismissed Purkiss. You and Thurston can work that out."

Since you chose Nullify, you won't be able to use that power at all until you remove the Device and the attachments Thurston and you are making, although of course all the other alt powers in that array are still accessible. Once those attachments are gone, you can never use the Device again until you come back, unless you use Extra Effort or the like.[/SBLOCK]

"I believe we are done here. Purkiss and Thurston are working right now. Come back in the wee hours of tomorrow morning so we can treat Reinstatler with the slight size reduction, and then you'll head over to Kennedy for the flight."

 

[Lot]

Carrion gives a casual wave to the group.

"Okay, then. I'm going to get some rest and I'll catch up with you guys tomorrow morning."

Carrion, doing his best not to knock into anymore furniture, leaves the briefing room.

*The group rests for the rest of the day, except CPU and Thurston, who continue work on the Device. Before long, even the two, working long into the night, have to get some rest. But thankfully, the modifications are complete--CPU can now transform the energy from a normal power source to activate the one effect of the waveform emitter, though the attachment has dulled his ability to nullify objects, which hopefully Gremlin can cover. Additionally, they have stored an excess battery of power for CPU to use in an emergency.*

*The next morning, when they report back to Resolute HQ, Thurston seems very excited, perhaps because he's going to get to try the technology on a living guinea pig. He brings Carrion into a small room, mounted with laser precision tools from various directions. Using the controls in another room, he carefully activates the device on Carrion. And it hurts like Hell! Carrion feels himself compressing, though it feels like his body is on fire, and then he blacks out.*

"Oh dear," Thurston adjusts his spectacles, "Looks like this isn't ready for general use on living subjects yet. At least it worked, though, and he has a healing factor that should help him up in no time. Sure enough, Carrion wakes up shortly (haha, pun). He is still somewhat disabled, but by the time they reach the airport, he is fine."

(OOC: Let me know the plans for going through airport security--I'm sure you guys are going to have no trouble, but let me know--keep in mind that at the very least, CPU will be bringing something metal through the metal detector or putting a waveform generator that looks like a weapon through the x-ray )

Cedric plans, as the other try to pass throught the metal detector (and/or any other object that can detcet it), Cedric will mentally interface with the metal detector (Datalink power) and then try to speak with it (Communication power) and try to tells him that the metal object I carry is no dangerous and no need to waste time by beeping because of it. (Most likely, a Computer or Disable Device roll, both are at +14 and can be reroll when there is a conseuqence to failure (Second Chance feat))
