Ionian Dreams (Bront Judging)

"That's possible. They may also attack another largest building, instead. Or perhaps even another largest building that is also a government building. We can't be sure. You have two top hackers, though, so once you get access to TurkNet tomorrow evening, you may want to try to gather information if you can."

Carrion considers his options.

"I think an airplane will be a problem for me. With my wings and tail, sitting in a normal chair is near impossible. I have an idea but it might be a bit out there. How about you dip me in concrete and call me a statue. I don't need to breathe. In fact, my metabolism is unlike any living thing I've ever heard of. Unfortunately, I'd probably have to stay still for a dozen hours or so and, since no known drugs work on me, I'd have to be awake. Pretty horribly boring and uncomfortable, but possible. Then you could ship me out, pick me up in Turkey, and chip me out. How about something along those ideas?

"Dude now that is so much better than my moneky idea! So you don't need to breathe? Weird. Neither do I. Hey can you fly?"

Hawkeye

"Hmm...I like that option better than the crazy super-science, if it was feasible. I'm not sure if you could make it past customs and checkpoints, though. An X-Ray scan would give you away, and they've increased security after the recent attacks."

"At worst, we send you immediatly in Greece or Italy, and you fly by your own in Turkey. But the trouble with both that solution and the statue, it is you'll have no stamp in your apssporst. If we get controlled, we need to make sure we are legally there. And you have all the night to figure a way to sit in a first class seat."

Carrion nods.

"Yes, a good point. Just throwing some ideas around. I mean, I would have a hard time getting through the door of the airplane, so sitting would be pretty tough. I mean, how would I fit through the frame of the metal detector at the airport. How could I stand on line? It's not impossible but it will be tough. I'm wondering if we can make it work. I'm thinking of maybe using the hologram maker to make me into a dog, like a great dane. Or even better, a racehorse or something. That way, you can put me in a cage or container on the plane. Do they X-ray pets? Maybe one of my owners can make a stink about the radiation or something so they don't scan me? Maybe Gremlin can mess with the X-ray? Still doesn't solve the passport situation..."

"They absolutely will not X-ray pets, so you don't have to worry about that, although they make the owner take the pet out of the container and X-ray the container. I think Thurston said he had another idea, so if we're done with the rest of the discussion, shall I call him in now. I didn't bring him earlier because I thought he might be a distraction."

"Altering data on the flight, it,s my speciality. if you donT, want the metal detector to beep when your pass through, I can do it, but I must be there, which mean if you are a luggage, I cannot make it for you. I know computer like my pocket, I can speak with any kind of machine the man have made like you can talk with any american that is walking in this country. The only guy who can mimic such feat that I know, it is Highbrow, and he is here too. So, if it is a machine the problem, you got your back covered." tells Cedric. "Sir, you're welcome to call him now. If he has a solution, better know it now, it seems to drain much of our attention, so if he already have a solution, better to know it now and doesn't waste any more time on that and focus on our mission."

"The proposed idea of a holo-imager or something akin to one combined with the pet idea seems sound. If the image is one of an appropriate pet. Or circumventing the airline's security measures remotely should not pose a problem for CPU or I. As for Thurston...."

OOC: Shift array into Precognition. Try to calculate what "Thurston" has in mind.

*Steele nods and presses a button.*

"Thurston. Briefing room beta."

*After a short while, a short brown-haired man who looks to be in his twenties with spectacles and a labsuit enters the briefing room.*

"You wanted to see me, Mr. Steele?" he asks with a British accent.

"Thurston, we do have to take the big guy like we thought we might. And we can't just make the girl handle it for us."

"A pity, Jonas, but I don' think we need her anyway. She creeps me out--somehow her mutant power is subtle enough that it doesn't set off the..."

"Thurston, we aren't here to talk about that. The solution?"

"Well, I'm not sure it will work, but it's a thought anyway. So, I don't know if any of you know about the waveform generator we recovered last month? It's almost certainly Japanese, but the Japanese government claims that it isn't theirs. Perhaps a political move of convenience, but it means we got to keep it. I still can't make it work on its own because it's out of power. I think it might be normally powered by something rare, like Lyrobium or Xenobium fallen to earth from the comet. Anyway, you've got Cedric Purkiss, so you sort of have your own transformer, and I know he's a master of machinery. If he and I work with this thing, I bet we can attach it to his body and allow the use of at least one setting through his own power. This might short circuit something else, but it would be a better long-term solution than my other idea, which is to juryrig a temporary holographic emitter that would undoubtably last for only a few hours."

"And the size, Thurston?"

"You're aware of the miniaturisation effort behind the recent boom in nano- and pico-technology, right? It changes the vibrational state and coordinate compound structure of solid structures such that they contract very slightly. Maybe some day we'll have a super-shrink ray based on these principles or something, but for now it produces a very modest effect that slightly reduces the target's size. For an inert object, it works quite well, but it hasn't been tested on a living subject. Of course, Carrion is fairly hardy, so he would be a good test subject anyway. My guess would be that it will only be temporary, as the natural exertion and motion of a living creature will increase the vibrational states and return slowly to normal size over time."
