-The Grimlocks. Not really what they were called, but I can't remember their real name. Scary enemies in The Scar that we only see near the very end of the book.

The Grindy Low.

There's at least another race, and those are the ones who re bugging me. I think they're in both The Scar and The Iron Council but I can't remember anything about them. My copies of both of those are at a friends...

There's the Remade and the Freemade, of course. Adn there's the caterpillarpeople, and there's the very small people. And there's the Vampires.

And I think there were fish-people in The Scar, weren't there? Near the beginning, didn't they go to an underwater fish-people city?

I would put the Cactaii at something like DR5/slashing and piercing, meaning it would have to be a weapon that has both slashing and piercing damage. The revebows seem to be their main weakness and they fire somethink like a rotating saw blade, no?

Normal swords don't seem to scare them that much.
