Cool! I actually played this at the Con (wish I could remember the DM's name...kinda young guy who was really cool) and had a blast. I wish IH had a bigger following in my neck of the woods. I'm looking forward to playing it more when the ruleset gets ported to Fantasy Grounds II.

Sometimes when I think of Iron Heroes I get a little sad.

I like the style, but there's just too many damn rules for my tastes.

Compared to running 3e, it's practically rules-light, though!

This is a fun module; I was fortunate enough to playtest it prior to Gen Con. The pregen characters are a hoot!

Clean shave fellow with sandy blonde hair? Probably my friend Colin. He's hoping to come back next year.

Glad the adventure's up. I will download soon. :)

Heh, I played in this at GenCon as well. I might have been in your game! Great group and great module - I had a blast.

As ruleslawyer said, it's not much different than "standard" 3ed. You essentially replace a lot of spells and magic items for other abilities.

I had read the books but it was the first time I actually played the system. I was pretty hard on IH for a while. I'm a huge fan of low-magic games and I always felt IH was a bit too "supers" and rules-heavy for my taste. I couldn't have been more wrong. Granted, some of the class abilities were a bit wonky but overall it was just FUN.

If anything, I was actually looking for MORE options. I think IH would benefit immensely from a cool Action Point system, a la Grim Tales. You have so many cool abilities but it's tough to pull them off sometimes. More swash!
