Iron Heroes Sheet

Legend
I like Iron Heroes so far, but I'm disappointed with the sheet. So, I made my own, mostly based on the layout of Mad Irishman's "Ultimate character sheet". Feel free to use it or comment on it.

Great job Staffan! Malhavoc's was next to useless.

Just a couple of suggestions though:

1. We still could use Flatfooted and Touch AC slots.
2. It would be nice to be able to type values and fields directly into the PDF.
3. Ideally it'd be nice if it auto calculated everything for you too...
4. It looks a little odd when you capitalize the first 3 letters of each stat, I don't think it's needed.
5. Under Encumbrance, it's probably better if you just say Med. Load is 2/3 and Heavy is 1/2 speed instead of actual units.

Basically, just minor things (um, except the auto-calculation part...)

Cheers!

Definitely better than Malhavoc's! My only suggestion would be to include a few boxes to record the character's available token pools, and maybe their maximum tokens for each pool. (I don't see the point of a box for 'current tokens', as appears on Malhavoc's sheet. I haven't played any IH yet, but I'm pretty sure that box would quickly become nothing more than a hole erased in the paper. :) But especially for a mutli-classed character, a list of the pools and max tokens might come in handy.)

I made a revised sheet that I'll post later tonight (I don't have it on this computer). When field-testing the sheet (i.e. making a character) I noticed that there's too little space for the feats/class abilities thing, so I made more. I also noted that the boxes were generally too small to write in comfortably, so I made them slightly bigger and moved the skills to page 2 (and some of the page 2 stuff to page 1). Oh, and I made two slightly different versions - they differ only in that one has a standard page setup and the other has a facing-page setup. In the latter, the second page has a wider right margin than left margin, to match up with the wider left margin on the first page when printing it double-sided (to leave room for hole-punching).

I also noticed that I had had a brain fart when making the first sheet and put in a "Weapon" mastery instead of the "Tactics" mastery.

As for doing advanced stuff with the PDF (writing in stuff and auto-calculating), that's beyond my capabilities. I designed the sheet in Word, and used a free application (Ghostscript and CutePDF) to turn it into a PDF, but that doesn't allow me to mess around with the PDF later. If anyone else wants to do it, I'm more than willing to let them. If they need the Word file, I can send it too.

So, here are the files: The "source" Word file if someone wants to play with it (the font used for saying "Iron Heroes Character Sheet" is called BlackChancery, and might not be on all computers so it might look wrong - the rest is Arial Narrow with a touch of WingDings though, and should display properly), one PDF sheet for printing on two separate pages (Iron Heroes Sheet.pdf) and one for printing dual-sided (opp pages).

Cool, Staffan. I'll be retooling my 3.5E sheet into Iron Heroes, hopefully by tomorrow. I'll post it here, maybe we can get a few different sheets for people to try out, and learn from them and each other to get the kinks out.

Nice job Staffan! A definite improvement.

Cool. The more the merrier!

Cheers!

Just out of curiosity, what's the difference between the seperate-pages aond dual-sided versions?
