Hi All
I'm new to posting here so please be nice!

I have recently acquired Iron Heroes and am quite impressed by it. I am currently considering putting a game together in David Gemmells Drenai saga and wanted to know if anybody knew of any websites that would help me in this?

My personal favourite is Legend of the Silver Slayer!

I have bought Iron Heroes with a similar thought to running a Drenai campaign.

Lorath,

No real advice to offer about your campaign, but you might want to ask the moderators to move this over to the d20 Modern Etc. Forum, thats where most of the IH discussion is going on.

Welcome to ENWorld!

Hi Lorath

This does not really answer your question directly, I know - but 0one Games have released a number of adventures and accessories for their Seven Avengers campaign setting, which bears a very close resemblance to the world of David Gemmell's Drenai novels. Although the adventures tend to be a bit railroaded, they do have a great epic feel, and might be combined nicely with the IH ruleset with a bit of work. The adventures you might be interested in are Legend of the Steel General, The Twenty Sides of the Evil, and Warriors of Dream.

Visit 0one Games for more information.

I'd love to hear how you (and any others) get on with this. I've been a big fan of Gemmell for years and the only thing that has stopped me running a game based on some of his books is that most of my gaming group don't seem too keen to read any of his stuff so a lot of the flavour would be lost on them. IH seems like a very good game system to try this with (was previously going to do it in HERO).

Any ideas for the size of the 'party'? You could really go from a Winter Warriors sized group all the way up to a Knights of Dark Renown style group (my favourite Gemmell book) with the ruleset.

If you want to bounce any ideas around then please post them. I'm also a regular viewer of stuff on the IronHeroes.com forums - well worth checking out if you haven't already.
