Quick question

Would the Human Paragon class from Unearthed Arcana be available? (Thinking maybe Paragon/Wizard if possible.)

What point total were you thinking? I like to flesh out the background first but I also like to match the backstory action to the attributes.

No, and I will tell you the reason why. One of my goals in playing an IK game is to test drive some of the IK-specific mechanics. I want to see how things shake out in actual game play. The PbP game, in addition to my tabletop IK game, will be the first time(s) I've run a game using the new IK Character Guide rules. For that reason I am severely restricting the use of non-IK material during character creation.

What point total were you thinking? I like to flesh out the background first but I also like to match the backstory action to the attributes.

Standard 32 point buy.

On second thought, the concept I posted above is waaayy to close to one I'm playing already. If we really need a spellcaster, I'll stick with that. My prefered one would be a reckless young Llaelese duellist (dual-wield Dex-based fighter) who left her country to study in Cygnar at the prompting of her rich family and now can't get back into Merywyn. Same thing about the vengance aspect of it.

That's fine, I will probably go with a straight wizard or maybe a Gun Mage since Bobitron is thinking maybe Duellist.

Oo, Oo, count me in! (If there's room, of course. Perhaps a list of who's officially 'in'?) I'm thinking a half-Khadoran Arcane Mechanik who grew up in Cygnar. With the war starting he's conflicted between serving his homeland and his father's stories of the Motherland.

I have about 400 IK characters ready to rock, so I could really play anything needed. I have a great paladin of Morrow that breaks all the conventions about the class.

Back Story

One of the things that I thought worked really well for my Greyhawk game was developing a detailed backstory for all the PCs by cataloging their past adventures together. It's something I'd like to eventually try for this game as well, as we won't be starting at first level.
