Warmachine is produced by a seperate design team, only sharing some staff. I really have to suggest to anyone interested in the Iron Kingdoms that they should pick up Warmachine:Prime. It really has some great fluff, giving a concise and useful history of each of the major powers, some cool characters, hints at the political makeup of the continent, and great art. I don't play the miniatures game, but I do own a fair number of them, and have found it very useful in my occassional IK game.

With Lock n Load, the Troligy, and the Monsternomicon *I* could
run a campaign using my imagination to fill in the rest. But, I'd love
to have the book to get THEIR take on THEIR own campaign. ;)

I twitch and wait as well, Menoth must REIGN SUPREME!! :D

joe martin, EIC over at privateer press answered a query of mine on the privateer messageboards recently indicating that by mid-december-ish he should have an idea of when the IKCG would be sent to the printers. the artwork is done, much of the content has been through the editorial process, and they're working on final editing and layout at this stage [as i understand it]. also, though they originally planned for 280 pp, the current count is "well over" 300, so when it does make the shelves it's "going to be massive" [i think i'm quoting joe accurately here].

not that any of this helps those of us jonesin' for it NOW!!!
