I guess its necesary so monks just don't get owned by Dr creatures (which they currently do anyways) but it seems a bit silly. Though I susepct they'll jsut ahve anotation, can bypass silver DR now umm because.

I'm curious about the new DR, actually. Wasn't it rumored that stuff like 'skeletons take half damage from pointy things' was going to be replaced by DR? Anyone know anything about this?

oi you missed the zillion page thread then, and the scoops. Basically a skeleton DR will be 5/blunt now instead of 1/2 daamge from all thatis not blunt. furthermore creatures that have a DR with a material like silver, iron, holysilver will not have theri DR bypassed by magical weapons. Also the DR values have dropped to a range of 5-15, 15 being for the ehavy hitters of the world like the new pit fiend.

hich is why people questioned what will happen with the monk whoose ki strike sucks as is but if only bypasses the + style and not the material style it wuld suck even more, now we have an answer of sorts.

So demons and devils, watch out for the spledid holysilver waterfall technique.
