Additionally, Rogues have a "First Strike" class feature granting them Combat Advantage against any creature that has not yet acted in the fight so if the rogue were to sneak up behind a mo-fo and launch an attack from surprise, the rogue would most certainly deliver sneak attack damage in the surprise round and could even follow that up with more sneak attack damage if the initiative is won.

There's also a feat called "Seize the Moment" that gives you combat advantage against enemies with a lower initiative. so that you can keep that rolling all fight long.

How does Seize the Moment work, exactly? If it means you get combat advantage against anyone with lower init, for the whole fight, that seems awfully overpowered.

I suspect it'll be more like you get CA for the 1st round only, meaning that it duplicates how flat-footedness works in 3E.

Either that, or using the feat lowers your initiative to match your target's initiative.

Paragon, need 17 DEX, don't know the mechanics. All we know is that you "gain combat advantage over foe with lower initiative."
