OK, after 6 months the folks at Blizzard still don't seem to be in any rush to provide fresh content for WoW, so has anyone decided to hop over to see what the Matrix Online has to offer? Maybe not, since I don't see any existing threads on the topic, but if so, personal impressions would be welcome.

Well this is second hand gossip. Several ppl in my WoW guild, who play a rather wide variety of games have given some pretty negative views of the Matrix. Several played in beta.
Alot of it seems to be on odd design choices, ie classes that are simple translations of fantasy types: fighter ,healer, pet classes, etc that seem weird in the Matrix Universe. Also a pretty clunky interface and drab environment-although this is pretty consistent with the movies.
I also wish WOW would get with t e new content, but of the dozen or so ppl Ive spoken to regarding the Matrix, almost all have been negative in some way.

I played the free preview they offered in the last days of the Beta.
Very, very fun game. Its definitely a lot like the Matrix, and while the missions can be tedious, just watching the fighting is a treat. I had tons of fun, and I'd love to play it more, but I've just not got the money for an MMORPG.
