Is buy.com honoring it's $14 price for ELH?

I am not sure a company has to honor a price when a back order is created. They do not have to give out rain checks (I think). They would have to notify you of the price difference. You only authorized them to charge your CC account a specific amount.

Nope, else it is called 'bait and switch' which is considered fraud in most states.

I have always had good experiences with Buy.com

I would hope they would honor the price.

If you notice though, the page count and authors do not match up. So I wonder what they think they are selling...

Unilateral mistake is ordinarily not grounds for revocation of a contract.

One exception: when the other party knows or should know, at the time the contract is formed, that the mistaken party is mistaken.

Go check it out and search for error. It says they have the option of honoring typographical errors. All E-commerce sites have this. You should see hot deal forums on the net complain when a hot deal is just a pricing error and the company backs out. However, this is definitely the right price, so let's see if we get it.

Well, the ELH has shipped and they've honored the $13.82 price that they are still advertising the book for. No problems.

The ISBN is the same as everywhere else....Everything else is wrong. Just found out all the information except the ISBN and format (hardcover) is the Book of Challenges...Hopefully you get your copy of the Epic Level Handbook and not the Book of Challenges.

I placed an order, didn't realize it was $40 for the ELH and not the normal $30. So this is a pretty hot deal.

Amazon's price of 27 and some change is correct(bn.com and bamm.com all have that price). Buy.com's price of 13 and some change is way off! It IS a pricing error..so good luck getting it.

Actually, I pre-ordered it back in February at $15 and change, just under $20 with shipping. I see they raised it, but my order still shows the price I pre-ordered it at.
