Dave,

I think if you check a good number of other d20 companies (GR comes to mind) you don't see much obvious "new" products for 2007. Note that word obvious.

Does that mean they aren't going to do 2007 products? I don't think so.

In any case, I think we can all assure you Dave your presumption is false.

I for one can't see why this would explain why Dave's question was labeled "misleading"?

He checked the site, didn't see any announcements, popped the question, got his answer. Isn't that just like it's supposed to work?

/M

Dragonlancer,

Have you or anyone else seen any sign of Races yet? I really, really, really want that book. :)

I'm not certain on the exact status of the book right now, but it is still in the works. There's been a little bit of a delay, though. I can't say much more beyond that.

Dragonlance is very near and dear to the hearts of everyone who works for Margaret Weis Productions, whether as staff or as a freelancer (in my case). In 2007, you're going to see Races of Ansalon, the dragon sourcebook, Dragons of Winter, Dragons of Spring, and maybe one or two other books. MWP would like to do a Taladas sourcebook, but that will have to wait until after the Taladas trilogy by Chris Pierson is done.

Regional sourcebooks are a possibility, though they would be broad in scope. There's been some talk about an ambient magic sourcebook (sorcerers, mystics, and bards) though I doubt you'll see that before 2008.

So really, it's just a matter of the website not fully showing the 2007 schedule yet. That will be updated once MWP is ready to.

Also, be sure to check out the Dragonlance Nexus, the Dragonlance fan website which works towards complementing the official Dragonlance products with unofficial fan articles and just generally celebrating Dragonlance fandom. Lots of cool stuff there to help you out in your Dragonlance game.

What ever happend to the revised monster book? Is it still coming or should I hunt down a copy of the original?

It's out in PDF format now, and I believe print should be available soon.

The reason I know it's still alive is because I spend most of my free time writing for it. :)

What's this free time thing you speak of? :D
