Is it just me or...?

Is everyone having the same problem as I have? Right now, I cannot download the rest of the forum page, only the "EN World" logo, the blue buttons to the right of that logo, and the banner ad. The rest of the page from the news ticker to the forum thread or posts remains blank.

It seems that I have to fiddle with the BACK and FORWARD buttons on my browswer just to make the rest of the board page appear. Even trying to get this Post New Thread page is frustrating.

Is it a glitch or is this a peak time to visit the board?

I'm having no problems with the boards. Also, there are only around 100 people here right now, so it's not a peek time.

Are you sure? Because I had to press the REFRESH buttons many times to get the page downloaded (in addition to the BACK and FORWARD buttons).

Just to be on the safe side, I'm turning OFF the News Ticker.

me neither, Ranger REG. my problems usually happen when morrus is tweeking the SQL settings (and i have no idea what that means)

Yeah, turn off the news ticker. It slows the board down horribly, at least it did for me, and I have a high speed connection.

I also have the News Ticker off. It made my high speed connection seem like I was using a 14.4 modem.

Ya, I like that that is not working. In fact I didn't even notice it was gone until someone else mentioned it in another thread a few weeks back.
