Is it still "Year of the Drow"?

First Post
I was at the WotC site and saw that they still proudly displayed the Year of the Drow banner. I thought that 2002 was Year of the Drow. When is this Year of the Drow thing going to end? Hopefully soon. I'm getting a little sick of drow. Don't get me wrong, but the idea of some degenerate spider worshipping dark skinned elves is getting a little old. Hopefully once WotC is done with this whole drow thing they can start Year of the Gnome!

They'd be better off replacing it with '10years of Drow' and be honest about it.
*bloody drizzits...*

How about year of the dwarf!
I mean, theyre cranky, live mostly underground, short like to hack things too! :D

They would've changed it, but drow years are longer than human years....

I'm all for Year of the Gnome or Year of the Dwarf...

But, in all honesty, there will be no place in my heart for any creatures after the Kiloano of the Kobold! 1,000 Years of KOBOLDS! WOOOHOOOOOO!

Durn it, now I want to write a Kobold Kompendium...anybody wanna pay me? :)

Mmmm... Year of the Dwarf... That's something I could get behind... Though not literaly, I'm a bit taller than the average dwarf...

I'm betting that the "Year of the Drow" will last until around 2005 or so, when they finally finish releasing the War of the Spider Queen books.

well, seeing as how drow live about 500 years, a dow year is about 5 of our years. So it should be over by, say....2007

I certainly hope it is still Year of the Drow. We just got permission from Anthony Valterra to use that as a part of one of our pieces in "Son of a Portable Hole", due out on April 1st.
