Is Kenzer In Trouble?

Y'know, you could just not buy them, instead of say insulting things here for no good reason. I have few Kenzer products, but if I were in the market for a traditional D&D campaign setting (which I'm not really) Kalamar would be my choice; it'd blow away Greyhawk and FR both easily. I'm still tempted to pick up both the hobgoblin and orc books anyway.
They also have nice city supplements, like 'Loona, Port of Intrigue'.

While I haven't played any Kenzer stuff I have only heard good things about them. I've seen their stuff at some of the cons and it looks interesting enough that were I shopping a campaign setting I would certainly afford them a look.

I believe Jolly answered this question on RPG.net. He pretty much said they did all they could with Hackmaster and will not be putting a Hackmaster book out every month. They will make several products a year though to keep hackmaster alive. I am not sure about this but it won't kill you to do a search on RPG.NET.

I read on Kenzer's forums they announced "Hackjammer". Resurrecting Spelljammer for Hackmaster. Authored by some long Spellhammer fanatics.

I believe whatever has slowed Kenzer's products is probably a "perfect storm" of products missing deadlines for various stages of development. Imagine whatever could go wrong, and it might have for something in their pipeline.

That's a bit harsh isn't it. We are talking about real peoples livelyhoods, after all.

That wouldn't stop me from pointing out inferior products.

Kenzer, howeverm, does not fall into this category at all. Kingodms of Kalamar is an amazingly rich fantasy setting for being as "realistic" as it is.

Hackmaster is, despite (or possibly because of) it's hilarious concept, an incredibly fun and well-crafted game.

KoDT remains a fresh and entertaining comic title after lord knows how many years of print.

I'm just not certain what products you could feel [i[are[/i] crap.

Yeah, but it seems to me that he he was saying he was glad that Kenzen might be in trouble. That's definitely talking about people's livelyhoods and such and going beyond just not liking their products.

aqctually it was a troll post, just an unsupported statement meant to get a rise out of people like it has. the rest of the thread has been good but there are just some posters that try to troll in good threads.
