Is Mongoose's Licensing Secret Out?

...In what is described as "the most obvious hint in the world", Mongoose Publishing's ad in the latest edition of Dragon Magazine (303) hints at something to come. At the bottom of the ad there is "B-Minus 120 Days and counting...".

Speculation abounds, but from this description and the rumor hype the new license seems apparent.

We expect the official announcement soon and look forward to seeing Dan breath again as this is one of the longest we've seen him keep something quiet.

Okay... the "B-Minus 120 days and counting" blurb has to be a reference to the "countdown" that appears in the Z'ha'dum episode of Babylon 5.

It just has to.

Well, they have called this the worst kept sercret in gaming history. People have guessed that and been talking about it for quite a while now. It does seem that B5 is the liscense, though.

This has most likely has been mentioned before, but I've forgotten so I'll ask...has it been mentioned whether it will be d20 or OGL? Personally I'd hope for the latter, simply so it does away with the sillyness of having to have the D&D PHB along when your playing a SF game (one of my beefs with T20).

I'd like to see d20 Modern. I think the "class issues" (what's Sheridan? a soldier/officer?) are resolved better using d20M.

The liscense hasn't even been officially announced, so no solid information has leaked as far as I know.

I would rather see them do a StarGate ruleset but if they're actually doing B5, it's all good. B5 was a awesome series, one of my all time favorites, and I'm sure Mongoose will do it justice

Well, Matt said something like "it's turning out to be the biggest secret we can't keep" (to paraphrase), and seeing as how B5 seems to be the the most proliferant guess, that would lend some support (though no validity) to the B5 theory.

Granted my Bab5 is a little rusty, but wasn't it Z minus 120 days etc (for Za'ha'dum) not B?

If the game is coming out, I am very excited. Although I would love to see an official Stargate game too.
