The language barrier here may be an issue.

As a physicist, I reject the idea that physics is one kind of magic.

As a person with a certain amount of genre awareness, I recognize that Weird Science is a thing that can be a cool part of fiction.

In terms of game design and world building, though, I find it a complete waste to say, "Physics and science are just another form of magic, that work off a different stat." That's the least creative way to include Weird Science into our games.

I mean creativity on the game designer's part.

And, if you don't think there's creativity involved in Logic, you haven't done a lot of work in formal logic proof.
