Is the "Quick" trait from UA worth the HP cost

For a scout/rogue type character would the extra movement granted by the Quick trait from Unearthed Arcana worth the downside. Basically you get +10 to your movement rate at the cost of -1 HP per level. My character has a 16 con so gets +3 HP per level. How important/usefull is the extra movement?

Useful? Very.

Important? Depends on the character.

If it fits, I'd go for it. There are only so many things that can modify your movement speed without going to exceptional lengths to gain them.

The question is, if there was a feat that just said..

Gain +10 movement

Would you take it?

If so, take the trait and improved toughness. If not, its doubtful you're that interested.

With that high a Con, yes it's worth it. :)
Agreed. In the case where one or two barbarian levels don't help with speed (and hitpoints) and you still have enough hitpoints, the Quick trait is fine.

Is it an enhancement bonus to speed? If so, it wouldn't stack with boots of striding and springing, which are only 5,500 gold, and I wouldn't get the feat. But if they do stack, I think it would be worth it.
