In the grim future of ENWorld, there is only war.

That's a good thing!
War means killing things. Killing things gains us experience points and levels (which makes us better at war and killing things )
And when we win wars, we steal all the gold and magic (and get more experience for that!) and take it home, and party like crazy before we go off to war again!

Or, at least, so sayeth the Player Characters.
