Is there a chaotic & lawful counterpart to Half-Celestial and Half-Fiend?

If you check the relative power levels of the Anarchic and Axiomatic templates they seem analogous to the Half-Celestial and Half-Fiend templates. So I use the Anarchic and Axiomatic templates to represent half-lawful and half-chaotic creatures. What's missing is an equivalent to the Celestial and Fiendish templates with smaller LAs.

...Anyway, what would the lawful equivalent be? Half-modron?
That is what I was wondering, as well! While the concept is pretty darn funny, I just have trouble accepting that creatures of absolute Law would even attempt to mate or breed outside their own type.

Where are your Anarchic and Axiomatic templates from? Mine are from the Manual of the Planes. Their listed addition to CR is the same as the Celestial and Fiendish templates. The Half-Celestial and Half-Fiend have larger additions to CR.

Is there a more 3.5ed version in any of the books?

You're right, since I'd always focused on the good/evil rather than the law/chaos axis I checked their LAs which are analagous to the Half-Celestial and Half-Fiend when I was converting them for my homebrew and decided that's what I'd use them as if I needed them. Now that I go back and look at them they were over-LA'd and match the celestial/fiendish templates.

Still it shouldn't be hard to use it as the core of an uprated template. Add the Half-Celestial Stat adjustments, damage reduction, and then a modified SLA list taken from the Half-Celestial but modified for Law subtype spells with the good or evil stuff removed.

There is the Anarchic & Axiomatic template, but they are more counterparts to the Celestial and Fiendish template instead.

Thanks!

No, not yet.

Celestials and Fiends both come in Lawful and Chaotic versions. No doubt a new 1/2 Axiomatic-thing and 1/2 Anarchic-thing would also come in Good and Evil versions.

So what would make these new templates worth writing up? What would they be based on? Modrons and Slaadi?

Half-Anarch? For chaotic outsiders.

Half-Axiom? For lawful outsiders.

Half-Half? For neutral outsiders.
Probably Half-Anarch and Half-Axiom. For Neutral Outsiders, I actually came up with the term Equilibrant, so for half-neutral-outsider it would be Half-Equilibrant.
