Is there a Class or PrC that grants a permanent Protection from Evil?

Well, yeah, all of them. :p

I play a melee character in the Age of Worms-Adventure path and we´re about 5th level. I´m the melee tank, and the first thing the clerics do is casting bless and prot from evil (on me, since I´m the defense line). I thought it would be pretty cool, if I could manage to get PfE as a class ability, but now I think a magic item will suffice. A cloak of PfE should not be a problem for our group to make. :)
Sure, I could get the +2 AC with an Ring of Protection, and it would work on all enemys, not on the evil ones only. But since my group will simply die, when I get charmed or dominated, PfE suits me better. At least until I get "Blank thought" from the Occult Slayer PrC, but this will take a while.

Anyway, thanks to all of you for your help and suggestions!

One level of cleric or favored soul and then you can probably qualify for the one level of Fist of Raziel, which gets you a 10' radius emanation of protection from evil with a magic circle, and no nongood summoned creatures can enter the area either (unless you move next to them yourself), and a smite once a day that can count as good aligned to bypass some DRs. And of course the one level of cleric gets you bless and divine favor as well, and a huge spellcasting list for using wands and scrolls.

Skullclan Hunter (MiniHB) will also get you permanent Prot Evil.

I doubt he could qualify. I think it is: Knowledge (religion) 8 ranks; able to turn undead; sneak attack +2d6

Sadly, my character is male.
Virginity is the usual requirement, not femaleness. See Blue Moon Rising.

But you don't want the effect from a companion anyway. How about getting one of the spellcasters in the party to enchant your armour or create a ring of spell storing or something?

That is exactly what I´m going to do, as I described above. ;) But I think a permanent effect (such as on a cloak or ring) would be better. I prefer the cloak.

Just beware that a wise DM will charge you an arm and a leg for it. It's not just a simple straight math calculation for the benefits of a permanent protection from evil. ;)
Listen to the man; he knows what he is talking about.

If I were playing Age of Worms, I'd be more likely to save my nickels to fashion a good-aligned version of the Darkskull. Much better mileage there, I'd wager.

Seriously. Back when I ran my first 3e game, I let the party mage create shirts of Protection from Evil for a market price of 2000 gp each. At the time, I didn't realize exactly how cool PfE was. Learned my lesson. I'd charge at least 10 times that now, and still consider it a bargain.
