Is there a creature you've always wanted to play?

Is there some creature or monster in D&D you've always wanted to play? Or maybe a creature from a book or movie?

I've always wanted to play a Kenku, ever since I first saw them in the AD&D Fiends Folio. But I've never been allowed to do it by the DM and/or other players in our game. I've used a Kenku for an NPC several times when I was DM.

With the multiclassing rules for 3E, I'd think it would be even easier to create a Kenku PC. I'm going to have to sit down and think about doing this again.

Anyone else have any favorites they've always wanted to play?

I've always wanted to play an Illithid.

Mmmmm.... Illithids.

I plan to pick up Savage Species the moment it hits the shelves. :)

I'm another faerie / pixie fan.

I was really excited with Mythic Races came out for the fairy race in that, but very annoyed that they mad it ECL 3 without removing the things it's author had put it to balance it to ECL 0.

I am a big fan of the Krynn Minotaurs and if I was to play a creature a minotaur would be my first choice. I have never played one but I did have one as a NPC in a campaign I ran many years ago.

I've always wanted to be one of those butterflys that don't have mouths and stomachs as they don't eat. Instead they spending their whole adult life shagging instead.

Oh you mean in D&D, whoops.
