Is there a feat that lets a casting class use str instead of int/wis/chr?

3.0 psionics allowed a psion to use any stat as the key stat for manifesting powers.
Not exactly. Only Psychometabolism powers are based on strength. Other powers are based on other stats.

I think there was a feat that let you use strength instead of your normal key ability score for all aspects of spellcasting, it was in the Complete Munchkin book :p :)

Yeah, what was that called...meathead caster?

Edit: <shakes fist at shadowdweller for beating em to the joke>

Yeah, this was a disappointment. I would have thought, as they wanted to encourage multiclassing, they would allow it to grant higher level spells as well, but I don't think it does - just extra spells.

secondly, there's the Illumian race, in Races of Destiny. an Illumian of 2nd level or higher with the Aesh and Krau runes can use his strength modifier to determine bonus spells for all his spellcasting classes, instead of whatever (int, wis, or cha). he still uses the normal score to calculate the DC, however.
