Is there a race that will give you a plus to Charisma?

Umm. Hill giants. Charisma 17, according to my MM. What's that? A +6 Charisma bonus? Make a great bard. :D

Oh this is SO funny. I never noticed that.

The thing is, my current campaign has as it's main critter, yup, hill giants (the PC's butchered 12 in this week's game and they will attack a hill giant outpost in next game's...).

So, for :):):):):) and giggles, I will roleplay those beasts as very eloquent and charming until my players start thinking I'm too weird, at which point I will point them to the MM and act innocently...

In a Dragon issue there are chaotic and lawful plane-touched race templates to balance the good and evil ones (aasimar/ not celestial). I believe the chaotic race has a +2 CHA with a favored of sorceror. ECL+1 like the aasimar.
In a different issue of Draogn there is a Draconic template/race (have dragon as a farther ancestor than half-dragon) it is reprinted in the current Dragon as well. It has a bonus to CHA I think.

I created basically a sub human race that I haven't named yet, but have released has OGC. I used RaceCalc to balance this out againist the other races and has no ECL.

I'll leave out the flavor text and give you the crunchies!:)

They get all the human benefits except as noted below.
Stats:
+2 Wis
+2 Cha
Feat: as human
Favored : as human
No extra skill points
Low light vision

If you don't like the two stat bonuses without a corresponding penaltiy then I recommend using -2 to Con.

As it is it plays well and fits in, well at least in my games it does. I'll admit it does help out a Wis or Cha based caster out slightly

So you are trading one skill for low light vision, +2 wis and +2 cha.

Seems a touch (Hell, a lot) over generous to me.

glass.

In my campaign you can take the following feat at first level:

"Fairer Sex" (Trait)
You come from a culture that emphasizes the feminine graces.
Prerequisite: Your character must be female.
Benifit: Your character has a +2 bonus to Charisma and Wisdom, but a -4 penalty to Strength.
