Is there a way to hide (ignore) a thread if there is no prefix for that RPG?

This is an evergreen topic, but the short answer is no (AFAIK). There is no way to ignore specific threads.

You can ignore specific users, and if you ignore the person who started the thread, you won't see it. But that means you won't see any of that person's content.* So it's not really a fix.

The only solution is to scroll past the thread.

*You can change your settings to completely block the content, or to hide the content- check your settings.

And, note that this is not the feature working as intended. We don't really want ignoring (or being ignored by) the person who started a thread to make the entire thread invisible to you, and if Xenforo fixes it, that behavior will end.

Sorry, I should have been more clear here.

IIRC, there is a difference between what the ignored and the ignoror sees (based on two-way ignore):

Brad ignores Derek (DEREK!!!).*

That means that Brad will not see Derek's content, including the threads that Derek starts. This (AFAIK) was always how it was supposed to work.

The issue is whether Derek will see Brad's content (two-way ignore). This is a little different- it used to be that Derek would not see Brad's content except for thread starters. This was intended. However, it is my understanding that this changed a little while ago and now Derek cannot see Brad's content, including thread starters.

I think that this is accurate? If not, please correct.

*There is are two switches on the settings that can toggle "remove ignored content" and "enable two-way ignore" and turn those on and off. I am assuming these setting are on and the user is removing ignored content and enabling two-way ignore.
