Is There An Omnislash Feat?

Omnislash
Prerequisite: Great Cleave, Whirlwind Attack, munchkin level 14th
Benefit: This feat works just like Whirlwind Attack, but you make your attack roll against all opponents on the same battlemat.

:p
Weak!

Omnislash
Prerequisite: Great Cleave, Whirlwind Attack, munchkin level 14th
Benefit: This feat works like Whirlwind Attack except you may make a full attack against each target and you are treated as having eighty feet more reach than normal.

Omnislash was Cloud Strife's 4th level limit break from Final Fantasy VII... I think that'd be a violation of SquareEnix's copyrights...

Actually, it would not breach any copyright violations at all. Square Enix does not OWN the term "Omnislash", as it is a conjunction of two words, and they definitely do not own the meaning of it ("omni-" meaning many, and "slash" being self-explanatory for a technique that involes "multiple slashings").

So WotC could've released it at their whims. It'd be a copyright violation if they used an actual drawing of Cloud Strife performing the maneuver, of course. But not on the word or the use of the spell, most likely it'd be a violation of property rights of the character drawing.

How about this:

Omnislash [General]
You can unleash a devestating strike against any foe you can reach, though it takes a lot out of you.
Prerequisite: Dex 13, Int 13, Combat Expertise, Dodge, Mobility, Spring Attack, Whirlwind Attack, plus those two 'improved spring attack' feats in the PHB2, base attack bonus +20.
Benefit: As a full round action, you can move up to your base speed, making a melee attack with your highest attack bonus against any number of creatures that are within your reach at any point during your turn. You do not provoke attacks of opportunity for this movement. Afterward, you cannot take any actions until the end of your next turn.

(You're basically dazed, but this way you won't have undead warriors using this tactic every round.)

Is there some reason you performed this Threadomancy...or was it just to annoy people?

*doesn't necessarily disagree with the post...just thinks it wasn't necessary to do threadomancy.*

This may not be true. A case was brought against Palladium when they came up with their Nightspawn game (spawn, get it). The nightspawn name isn't owned, has little relation to Spawn, and fits your description of a word that can't be owned. I doubt this though, given the percentage of intellectual property claims on record (the Martin Luther King Jr estate gets $50 for every word used from his famous speech if you quote it. Harley Davidson attempted to patent their engines sound).

Palladium changed the games name rather than get into a court battle (winning a case can leave you just as broke). Same can happen with this, and Square Enix isn't a company WotC can out lawyer easily. I'm sure they wouldn't want to see WotC increase their sales with a barely changed ability made so famous from the FFVII game.

PS: And let's not go into WotC maintaining intellectual p[roperty rights on the beholder...
