EDITED: Can't figure out how to delete the actual thread, but I realized I should contact the publisher who's using the license before saying anything "out loud," as it were.
If you're referring to that tiny new publisher who was at Gen Con, selling their 1E-compatible adventure with the "Advanced Dungeons & Dragons" title, I asked them about that.
They admitted straight away that they didn't have license to use the title, they were just hoping that they were small enough to fly under WotC's radar.
I should have bought a copy, even though I don't play 1E, since those will all be gone as soon as WotC notices them.
I didn't see them there or else I would have bought some stuff. Does anyone know who they are? I'm always interested in seeing what 1e stuff is out there.
