D&D 3E/3.5 ISO Sources: New Uses For Old Skills

Seeking third party supplemental material for new uses for old skills, particularly for 3.5e, and stuff that is easily converted to 3.5e.

Examples of what I'm looking for would be like, Ultimate Game Designer's Companion or some of the online sources (some of which are 3.0, not 3.5e). Trying to expand my skills list for my campaign while tailoring them to fit, and I'm always on the lookout for more skills/skill uses.

So far, I've found these:

Ultimate Game Designer's Companion
Experts v.3.5e
Player's Handbook 2
Advanced Player's Handbook

There's others, I'm sure, but I'm not sure what they are or who publishes them. Basically, third party stuff that expanded on 3.5e, but usually as a GM supplement rather than something specific to a campaign setting or a world (Malhavoc Press, for instance, has their own 3.5e system that is separate from the regular 3.5e).

The major problem is that there aren't a lot of books dedicated specifically to this idea; usually what you have are a few new uses for old skills tucked between a lot of other content, which means that you're getting very little bang for your buck (notwithstanding the value of the other content, of course).

The good news is that there are exceptions, such as Rite Publishing's 101 New Skill Uses (affiliate link).

Yeah, it's a lot to sort through, and I'm trying to make a more comprehensive list myself (by rewording things a bit and adding copious citations) so that I can use it for all my stuff. If there's any interest, I'd be happy to post the results here so people have access to it.

I don't have a copy of it myself (yet), but Little Red Goblin Games' Alternate Paths: Skills (affiliate link) also seems promising. (Make sure to check out the full-size preview; it's huge!)

For another book with new uses for old skills, check out Legendary Games' Mythic Skills (affiliate link). While it's technically meant for characters with mythic tiers, there's a section right in the beginning about using these with non-mythic characters.

This was a ground up reworking, targeted at pushing skills to be more on par with level appropriate magic. It has the benefit of being online and free: Tome of Prowess

I wanted to do something similar a while ago, where more ranks open up more abilities through skills. It reminds a little of FNFF/Interlok. Bookmarked!

I'm not sure how useful these are, and you've probably taken note of them already, but there are epic skill uses that you might get some use out of.
