Class Options for Social Intrigue
From an audience at a noble’s court to a bargain with an otherworldly entity, adventurers know that not all situations can be resolved through combat. Sometimes words become weapons and conversations become a war; a war won by those with superior knowledge, where gaining information on your opponents while concealing your own intrigues can mean the difference between absolute victory or crushing defeat. This article provides new options for adventurers looking to sharpen their aptitude for social interaction, from bards and marshals known for their skill with words to druids and heralds who enhance their schemes with magic. By Andrés Olán-Vázquez.

Locus of Power: Leyline Mechanics
Invisible rivers of power thread through the world, weaving a vast, unseen tapestry of energy. Some feel their pull instinctively—druids shaping the pulse of nature without ever naming it. Others study them with meticulous precision, mapping their currents like cartographers. Leylines are the veins of the world, carrying forces such as pure mana, life’s essence, or strange echoes bleeding in from other realms. By Jack Dwyer.

All-Consuming Terror of the Seas: The Pallid Whale
Not all life seeks merely to survive and reproduce. Some aberrant examples transcend this drive, warping the natural order by their very existence. The Pallid Whale is one such horror—a gargantuan, pale sperm whale vast enough to swallow ships whole. Yet its sheer size is not its greatest terror. Anything it touches or devours risks corruption, becoming a thrall bound to its will even in death, serving until their bodies are destroyed. By Nathan Ruello.

Tome of Tables: What’s on the Shelf?
Adventures are filled with shelves—on bookcases, in storefront windows, behind bars, and more—and inevitably adventurers are going to want to investigate them. This article provides tables to help Narrators add interest and detail to their world when a player asks: what’s on the shelf? By Savannah Broadway.

wait i might buy this one on release those first two articles sound sick
I'll wait until issue 48 shows up in the next GPG annual. ;) For now I am curious about how the article on Leyline Mechanics will cover the Wizard (Geomancer) archetype from issue #22

I wonder which other classes in Level Up will have an archetype that deals with Leylines. The Sorcerer class comes to mind.
