It feels great to game again

First Post
Last night was the first time I had gamed in a year.
It was also the first game I DMed in three years.
We are playing in Eberron and I had six players and everyone had a great time, including me. I was nervous since I hadnt DMed in so long.

We started off with a side trek adventure in some sea caves while they are on their way to Sharn. They fought a Giant Croc, Crabmen, Kuo-Toa's, Blindheims and Bullywugs !!!. It was cool.

I just wanted to let those whom do not have current games at the time know it is worth the wait to game again so keep trying to get a game going. :)

I'm gonna add to this by saying this past Friday was the first time I've gamed in over a year. It was great even though my character died.

And I'll reiterate the message for those who haven't played in a while. Patients is a virtue whose rewards are magnified by their diligence. Don't give up and keep trying to get a game going.

I could game anytime I want to. I'm just burned out. I was the primary DM in a long running campaign that fizzled (due in greatest part to my losing interest) and I tried to start another one, but same reason. I run a game for my 11 year old son and his friend once a month or so, and that's about all I have in me.

One of my players has started a D&D campaign, and I've played in it precisely once. We're supposed to play Saturday, and I'll likely play, though my heart isn't in it.

Diaglo,
I was pulling a Monte Cook by having something big right off the bat to scare them. It was a CR4. They took it on and it took a while but they defeated. There were 6 players though and the croc was on a chain.

I didnt expect them to fight it. But they did and had a great time. Even though 4 of them were down to 1 HP by the end. ;)
