I hope that the rest of this year makes this the year that Celebrities get knocked down to their knees...

Is it their fault that they are celebrities? Ideally, everyone would be treated the same. Unfortunately, that's not possible. Look at the media storm when Paris was going to jail. The interest that celebrities, American Idol, etc generate in this country is disgusting.

On a side note, I would argue money allows you skirt the justice system more than celebrity. It's just that celebrity usually means money as well (although the converse isn't necessarily true).
