Items made by Paladins

Again, thanks for the feedback.

Does this mean you could make a touch attack to just splatter holy water on a foe?
Does it deal splash damage on a critical hit?
Why not?
Dripping: A dripping weapon has a sheen of Holy Water. A dripping weapon deals an additional 2d4 damage to evil outsiders and undead from holy water. The holy water damage is multiplied with weapon damage on a successful critical hit and each evil outsider or undead in adjacent squres is splashed with 1 hit point of damage. The holy water evaporates quickly, so puddles do not form and the holy water cannot be stored for later use.
Moderate conjuration [good]; CL 8th; Craft Magic Arms and Armor, create water, bless water; Price +2 bonus

As for the touch attack, that sounds like a house rule.

Uhm... just a minor idea: What about making this lay on hand item something ... religious relic thing? Nothing too special, you know, like the "splinter of the true cross"... I don't like the gloves idea too much, the item itself is nice.
Any suggestions?

Another Paladin-made Item

Here's a new one:
Cloak of Endurance: This drab, grey cloth confers two benefits on its wearer. First, the wearer is protected by an endure elements effect, allowing him to exist comfortably in conditions between -50 and 140 degrees Fahrenheit without having to make Fortitude saves (as described in the DMG). The character's equipment is likewise protected.
Second, the wearer gains the benefit of the Endurance feat.
Faint abjuration; CL1st; Craft Wondrous Item, Endurance, endure elements; Price 1,000gp.

I would love more feedback, guys.

Here's another paladin made item that I want feedback on:

Gershwin's Gauntlets: These +1 merciful adamantine gauntlets were created and worn by Sir Gershwin. Because of their affinity for paladins, they shed golden light like a candle when worn by one. A paladin wearer gains a +1 luck bonus to attack and damage rolls for every three HD he has (max +6).
The gauntlets also generate a self-renewing prayer effect, granting a +1 luck bonus to attack, damage, saves, and skill checks to any wearer and all his allies within 40ft. Foes within 40ft. instead take a -1 luck penalty to the above rolls. This effect allows no saving throw, but spell resistance does apply.
Moderate enchantment; CL5th; Craft Magic Arms and Armor, divine favor, prayer; Price 271,002gp or we can make it an artifact.

I'm still seeking approval for the blessed weapon ability.
I have not recieved feedback on the Cloak of Endurance

Isn't the blessed enchantment from the Book of Exalted Deeds?
Yes it is, and WotC priced it at only +1!

Blessed: This replicates the effect of the bless weapon spell, but it is permanent and always in effect. The weapon becomes good, which means it can bypass the damage reduction of certain creatures, particularly evil outsiders. Furthermore, all critical hit rolls against evil foes are automatically successful, so every threat is a critical hit. This last effect does not apply to any weapon that already has a magical effect related to critical hits, such as a keen weapon or a vorpal weapon.
Faint transmutation; CL5th; Craft Magic Arms and Armor, bless weapon; Price +1 bonus.

Victory at last! :P

I've offered up 3 items in the first post for the paladin:
Healer's Gloves - These seem to have been accepted :)
Blessed (weapon ability) - Has been done by WotC, so I can just use theirs :)
Dripping (weapon ability) - Seems to have been accepted :)
I have not recieved feedback on the Cloak of Endurance :(
I'm impatiently awaiting word on Gershwin's Gauntlets. I was hoping to create a set of items by this would-be hero. :'(

Healer's Gloves- I agree that you should make it explicit that they stack with a paladin's normal healing ability.

Dripping- I don't like that the extra damage multiplies on a crit, but I do like the idea suggested that you be able to use the holy water only as a touch attack (and then have it possibly multiply on a crit, I guess).

Cloak of Endurance- seems fine.

Gershwin's Gauntlets- seem very cool, though I haven't checked your pricing.

Gloves, Healer's: These thin leather gloves have embroidered on the back of both a single teardrop of red blood. These lightweight gloves grant a +5 competence bonus on Heal checks. Paladins who don these gloves may use their Lay on Hands ability as if they were 5 levels higher. Any other wearer gains the ability to Lay on Hands as a 5th-level paladin. Both gloves must be worn for the magic to be effective.
Moderate transmutation; CL10th; Craft Wondrous Item, cure light wounds, owl's wisdom; Price 10,000gp.
Is that better?
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
On the Dripping weapon ability; It is similar to evil outsider bane and undead bane, but it does not provide a +2 bonus to the weapon's enhancement. Allowing the damage to multiply on crit seemed a nice way to round out the ability, and it uses the dread d4 to boot! Besides it makes sense that if you strike an evil outsider (undead are immune to crits) in a sensitive or vulnerable spot (crit), you can get that acidic holy water deeper into a wound, dealing far more holy water damage.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm glad that the Cloak of Endurance recieved no friction. I thought it was a sensible utility.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I hope everyone likes Gershwin's Gauntlet's. I'm hoping to create a set of paladin-tailored items using his name. Maybe even having emergant abilities for collecting some or all of the set.

I'd still love to see any paladin made items you have all come up with.

Well, there is very little material in that thrice-damned book that isn't painfully out of whack. The blessed enchantment is not one of the few balanced bits, so I'd be careful using it. And make sure you check with your GM. If he has half a brain he'll ban it. If you are the GM, think very carefully before allowing something like that.

Well, I did think about it. I realized how powerful it was when I calculated a +3 price. I think that its balanced at that higher price, especially if I don't include it as part of a treasure, but as an item that is comissioned. Then they have to save up money to buy it, and it may just be more practical to get more useful items and hold off on the blessed weapon.

I have another item for consideration:
Gershwin's Useful Knife: This +1 dagger is long and narrow, with an ornate, upward curving crossgaurd. The double edged blade has the name 'Sir Gershwin' engraved on its length. One of the cutting edges is serrated.
Anyone touching or carrying the dagger is protected by a protection from evil effect, even when attacking. On command, the dagger emits bright light, illuminating the area as the daylight spell.
Moderate evocation [light]; CL5th; Craft Magic Arms and Armor, daylight, protection from evil; Price 49,302gp
