Iterative Attacks & Rapid Shot Feat

How does the Rapid Shot feat interact with Iterative Attacks? Does it grant a third attack (at an additional -2 to hit for all attacks)?

Thanks for the quick reply, Wulf! I'm prepping a character, right now, and thought this would work.

And don't forget that as your BAB increases (+11 and +16), the iterative penalty decreases.

Eventually all that will be left will be the Rapid Shot penalty: -2/-2/-2.
