It's good to be Daddy

For Father's Day yesterday, my wife bought me Tome of Magic, Player's Handbook II, and Red Hand of Doom. I've browsed through PHB2 and ToM, and both look to be extremely high quality books. I've also heard (second-hand) that Red Hand of Doom is a top-notch adventure. I'm impressed that WotC continues to put out high quality material, and I'm looking forward to using all three of these books in my games.

The real reason I posted, though, is to say "Wow, my wife rocks!" I might be the luckiest guy alive. To all fathers out there, happy belated Father's Day. I hope yours was as good as mine.

Mine was. I sang in a choir with my daughter, all my kids (with my wife's help) made me dinner, and went to the pub with my brother-in-law (who also is a father), where we enjoyed cigars, stout, and coffee. And I returned home for bed and some special attention from my wife...

Geez, I got two tee shirts, both of which I can't wear at work. Want to trade?

First one says "Worlds Greatest Dad 2006"... why the year? Am I no good next year? Damn people at Old Navy have to tack the year on so you will want to buy another one next year.

Second one is bright easter egg yellow. I don't have a problem with looking like a marshmellow peep around the house, but at work people will think I am doing some kind of road work or something.

I love my wife and kids very much, we had a great fathers day. BBQ and the whole nine yards. Only problem... I forgot to call my dad!
