D&D 5E It's October 1. Do you known where your spell cards are?

O
Used mine on Monday, first card the spelcaster tried to use we found it didn't list it was a "CONCENTRATION" type spell, haven't gone through the deck yet to see if it was just that one or all such spells. Other than that the only other problem I had is that the Arcane deck had an ink splat on the bottom running through the whole deck, it's only visable when the cards are stacked and doesn't show on the face of the card. If these were a playing deck they would be "marked" but as the deck is for referance it's not a problem, other than that I'm happy with them.

What spell didn't have the concentration listed on it?

Yes, concentration is definitely listed on the cards for at least some spells. I'd be interested to know which spell omits the "concentration" tag. It may be that we were Doing It Wrong last night, and I therefore may need to revoke all the XP earned by the PCs*.

*Joke**

** Or is it?

All the cards the Wizard has prepared, none have concentration listed, where is it located on the cards?

These are the cards

detect magic
invisibility
magic weapon
witch bolt

Strange - I'm sure I have seen it on the cards, but maybe not... checking a couple of the ones in your list, and then a couple of other concentration spells, it doesn't appear to be there...

As noted upthread: unless we're missing something, the "concentration" tag has been omitted from at least several cards (I haven't checked them all, but I have yet to see it on a card). There's a list of some specific cards upthread.

Ok looked at half the Arcane deck no spells are listed as concentration, took a look at a couple of cards in the Ranger and Paladin decks and they are the same, going to use a dry erase pen to mark the cards when I get a chance,it's a bit sad but not the end of the world.

I originally thought the concentration spells could be recognised as the only ones with "up to" in the duration (e.g., "Concentration, up to 1 minute", which appears on the card as "Up to 1 minute"), but there are spells such as etherealness which have "up to" durations but don't require concentration. So marking the cards -- or replacing them, if Gale Force Nine do decide to -- will be necessary.

I did e-mail GF9 to ask whether they'd be replacing the cards. Will see what they say, though I'm not expecting an answer immediately.

It would be easiest to simply use a list of what spells that aren't concentration, there aren't that many of them. It is silly that someone would need to do this though. There is no reason why this shouldn't be on the cards, really now.
