I've always been a sucker for spaceships...

Well, that was fun

I've always been a sucker for spaceships, going back to FASA's Ship Recognition Manuals. In fact, my upcoming Starship Recognition Manual is probably my favourite book I've ever created.

I think my "nostalgia" spaceship book is FASA's Federation Ship Recognition Manual. I have three copies of it, for some reason, as well as the Romulan and Klingon ones. There's just something so browsable about them.

When I was in my teens, for reasons best known to myself, I used my ZX Spectrum to create a database of every ship in those books. No idea why. Completely pointless!

So, fellow spaceship lovers. Which RPG spaceship book holds a place in your heart?

The small black Traveler book with Ships of the Imperial Navy (not the real title). I have a copy, hidden deep in my house's XL Closet - excuse me, in the garage - in a tote stuffed full of other 1980's-era wargame materials buried underneath about 5 more totes full of clothing.
I couldn't (and still can't) make heads or tails of a High Guard stat line, but reading the "class history" for the various ships was excellent entertainment for a quiet evening.
