But you can't spend a whole page rambling about stupid stuff and expect us to twitter with amusement.
I didn't twitter in amusement. I about choked on my own tongue to keep from wailing out in not-work-safe laughter.

I'm going to be billowy disco Jesus for Halloween this year. :)

Don't forget the big "Grizzly Adams" beard!

I work from my home and nobody was here but me anyway so I just howled. I was weeping with laughter at some of these things. "Whoopie Goldberg: Mexican Samurai!!" marked the point where I completely lost it.

Mostly that link serves to illustrate two points:

1) Fashions in the 70s and 80s were often bad, and comics simply reflected their times.

2) Particularly when it comes to throw-away villains, some comic writers artists can, indeed, be dang lazy.

Dr. Thorpe: He looks like a billowy disco Jesus.

...And I'm betting that's how George Perez pitched the idea to the Marvel Editors back in the 70's, too:

Marvel Editor:"what do you envision for this retro-character we've got in mind, George? We want something to hearken back to the 60's but with that new hip 70's style!"
Perez: "Well, my idea for the Aquarian is... well, he's... he's like this Billowy Disco Jesus!"
Marvel Editor: "Hey, I LIKE IT!"

OK, the commentary is funny. While I agree that brevity is generally good, the running conversation is just so reminiscent of my and my friends when I was younger.
