jail campain ideas

My party is currently in a jail. we are running an Xcrawl game (yea it is not out yet, but I get the jest)

So the setting is in Memphis TN. Any great ideas out there for plots. Give 'em to me!

County Jail, state prison, federal prison?

How did they get there? Mistaken idenity? Actually guilty? Frame up?

Are they planning on escaping or just surviving tilll trial? Or maybe they only have 30 days to serve?

Ok it was a frame up. I know how I am going to get them out. and one character has enemies all over the place so I have an easy encounter there. Basi cally they ran in an Xcrawl set in memphis (this gladiator match). They were cheated by the promoter of the event. The next day they were arrested for his murder (no they didn't do it). They have been put in holding cells until trial. I basically want a few quick scenes in this prison. The climax will be the players fighting in a death match with other prisoners.

Well, there are some encounters with gaurds tyhat may be corrupt or just cruel. There could be plots within the prison by different groups that have nothing to do with the PCs, but the PCs get mixed up in.

I've done time in the scrubs and in ataca which was a gladiator school. You've gotta bust out when your party's in trouble.
