Lord Foul's Bane. I haven't read this in years and years. I had forgotten how dense the book is. I remembered many things about Covenant I didn't like, but not all of this. About half way through, and I still like these books, even if I'm not sure how to feel about the protagonist.

I'm a total Thomas Covenant fanboy. I dust the books off every other year (or so) and re-read all six books. I've started reading the new books in the series, but they haven't quite grabbed me the way the original books did.

btw, I'm reading The God Delusion by Richard Dawkins.

Currently reading: Basilica: The Splendor and the Scandal, Building St. Peter's. Interesting reading so far, though I've barely started. The author's introduction has me wondering about how objective a source she may be on the subject, but it isn't a dry read, which is sometimes the case with historic non-fiction. I still need to get back and finish Michelangelo and the Pope's Ceiling sometime when I'm done with this, as a bookend to this one (sadly, Michelangelo is pretty dry reading).

I also started reading (albeit briefly) a book I picked up on Friday before Cloverfield- God is Red, a Native View on Religion. From just the introduction and first chapter that I've read thus far, it looks really interesting. A discussion on native american religious traditions, and how they relate with western Christian beliefs.
