Ok guys, Im open to doing some request art for your characters. Here are the rules:


1 - I own all rights to the produced image, including the right to reproduce it for any reason, the rights to the design and composition, and the rights to the original piece.

2 - You own rights to the character concept. I will not go parading around saying "Look at this character I made up!"


I am doing this to bump out a few more original pieces for my portfolio, and once I feel done enough to go out to art directors, the free-ness will stop. Also, I cannot guarantee the piece will be done soon, it may take a few weeks to get it done, since I have a quantity of personal and commision work to do. I am not going to do all the ideas, just the ones that I feel would suit my portfolio better.

I would be very proud, if you come up with my "Vampire The masquerade Live" character Gerhalt Kocour. I need to send you some pictures of him/me, and it would be very nice if you'll make a portrait of him..

Gerhalt is a Gangrel, a feline one, he's got Cat's Eyes, and also a black tail. (i use lenses and a cloth false tail ^_- but it's nice..) He's from Prague, czech republic, and now, he's gone to Sabbat, He lives in Ravenna, now, Italy and if you dare, i'll be very glad to send you some interesting photos of my city, so you can put him/me over a monument, or jumping down a church.. or whatever...

Ok for the character design... and the pictures... but.. the NAME and the CHARACTER will be mine.. so i can go proudly say ... "A FRIEND OF MINE DREW MY CHAR! I INVENTED IT, AND HIS FANTASTIC HAND CRAFTED IT!" ... i think that this could be acceptable. Will you receive money for Gerhalt from White Wolf or something like it? ... I WOULD BE PROUD! and... i don't want them. So you're free. ART is ART.. and GAMES are GAMES. I never thought about Gerhalt wondering it as a "Money-bringer charachter" ... so.. but you're asking characters to improve your portfolio.. and that's what i am giving you. i only would like to know (even) if published, where, and... you'll be very glad if you send me a copy. ^-^

sure i can do scifi and fantasy, im just obessesed with videogames adn everything i do revolves around them. i didnt mean to make the thing strictly videogame related.

im probly not gonna be getting to work on the stuff til the weekend. its my first week back at work and ive been freakishly tired and sore.


also- to kathear -
the things i need for my portfolio are to take descriptions of characters and/or situations and come up with original designs and drawings. i highly doubt any of this would get published anywhere, so dont worry about it hehe. i take high-res scans of all my work, so thats how i could get u a final copy. something like 10,000x10,000 pixels. i do have alot of character portraits in my portfolio already, the pieces id be doing are of the said characters in action, casting spells, fighting goblins and whatnot. my email is sir_honorable@comcast.net, the more descriptive material i get, the more unique and better the piece will come out, so go nuts, write tons of paragraphs if u want. same with images and photos.

How about this. A tall (lanky) cleric of a god of honor and war. He is lanky, clumsy, and the kind of guy who parts his hair three hairs to the left he has a well kept goatee. Weaponwise he wields a heavy mace or a flail. He also has a large steel shield.

As for video games, me and some fellow game development students are going designing a metroid meets zelda, with some rpg elements thrown in the mix. If you would be interested in doing some concept art for that, it would be well appreciated.
