Well, considering the posts above I can guarantee that you will not be the subject of a sneak attack javelin of lightning. So, you should be thanking me.

I really don't see the problem of giving the bad guys powerful one use magic items

Dang, it just means we have to KILL the guy with the powerful, one use item, BEFORE he uses it on us. Stop usin' our freakin' treasure! Like that darn cleric that used the scroll of Dispel Magic last session! Curse you, Scott!

This thread makes me think the following ...

BBG with 2 attacks per round, the quickdraw feat. 6 javelins of lightning, and some space. Potential ouch ... especially if you add a hall filled with expendable obstcals ... flunkies, short constructs, traps, pits of acid, glue traps, etc with BBG at one end and adventurers at the other.

Each is a bit better than a scroll of lightning bolt since anyone can throw it.

Can you off hand throw?

Yes, you can use TWF and Rapid Shot for two additional attacks at -4 to each... forget the attack roll will javelins of lightning
