And, I stuck by you through all of my 15000+ posts, even when Ulric may have talked about you behind your back in other threads. ;)

Yes, I did talk about him behind his back...

...but I was saying good things :).

Hmm...

Fair warning, guys... ;)

I haven't made a final decision one way or the other, but I'm starting to rethink this...

Wait, Ari! It'd be a terrible idea. You'd have no fun. The people in development are awful little harpies. Wait around for the design job.... wait around for the design job... wait around for the design job... you are getting sleepy... wait around for the design job.

I turned down a job @ WotC in 1998-ish because for project managing MtG they were only offering $45K with no relocation. I was simply curious if they'd started to up their salary ranges (I certainly wasn't trying to figure out your personal salary, Eytan Bernstein :D ).

I don't receive a salary as I'm not an employee of the company. I do know the salary ranges - at least what they were offering back in 2005 - but I can't say anything about that.

I applied.

However, I had applied for jobs before where you had the option to submit a cover letter with your resume. Generally a smart idea so that you're an NPC and not just a stat-block, y'know? But to do that you have to log in first, then go to their job openings and select the job you want, then click apply for this job, then add your resume and cover letter.

For some reason if you are not logged in while viewing the job opening, and you click apply for job, it asks you to log in, and once you have it applies you for the job without giving you a chance to include a cover letter. And there seems to be no way to add a cover letter to a submission you have already sent in.

It's a bit frustrating. Do you think I should create a second profile and apply again?
Yes I do.

Your Jedi mind tricks do not work on me! :D

I've gone ahead and applied. Not trying to step on anyone else's goals, I just decided the opportunity was too good to pass up.

That said, may the best developer win, even if it's not me.

Darn! Your will is too strong.

I'm sure they'll pick whoever they think is best. We have to get past the development test first anyway.
