Job Opening - F/T Game Designer

Morrigan Press Inc. currently has vacancy for a full-time Writer/Game Designer.

The position will involve writing for Morrigan's existing lineup of games as well as creating new games as needed.

Candidates should have a thorough knowledge of the roleplaying game market and should have previous RPG experience and published credits.

The position is home-based but the successful canditate will re required to submit frequent progress reports and updates.

Salary is comensurate with experience. Prospective candidates should be aware, Morrigan Press is a Canadian company and paychecks will be drawn on a Canadian bank. Preferrence will be given to Canadian applicants.

Pay rate

As the original post says: "comensurate with experience". Starting rate would be comparable to the recent opening posted and filled by Mongoose Publishing.

We will negotiate salary with the right candidate. If Monte Cook, Jonathan Tweet, Steve Long or Kenneth Hite were to apply I dare say the pay rate would be higher than that offered to someone with a PDF release or two.

Last day

Today was the last day that we planned to accept applications for the fulltime Game Designer position. We have decided to extend this deadline until 12 noon EST Monday Novemeber 8th, 2004. This gives everyone one final weekend to polish up your resumes and get an application in.

The call for applications in our hunt for a fulltime game designer is now closed. Thanks to the over sixty people who applied. We have narrowed our search down to a few candidates and now have the unfortunate task of narrowing this further to one successful writer.
