Druids have been brought in to reduce the number of accidents on Austria's worst stretch of autobahn.

The Druids have put up huge roadside monoliths to restore the natural flow of "earth energy". After the one tonne pillars of white quartz were erected beside a notorious stretch of road during a secret two-year trial, the number of fatal accidents fell from an average of six a year to zero.

In Euros? Not a whole heck of a lot. Probably somewhere around 1900 Euros. But better than not getting paid.

It's spelled Feng Shui. It was weird when I first read that word, because it was years before I heard it pronounced, and it was by my English teacher in 12th grade. I was hanging out with her after school, talking about Mists of Avalon (which was assigned reading), and she asked me to help her rearrange the desks in the room to improve the Fung Shway. I was confused, but we figured out what each other meant, and ended up with an intriguing triangular alignment of the desks that kept students from looking out into the hallway while simultaneously making the teacher the center of attention.

So yes, with Mists of Avalon, I managed to work in both druids and Feng Shui into one post.
