Journal of an Adventurer?

Okay, this was awhile back, but someone posted a link to a website where we're given the first-person perspective of an RPG character.

Stuff like, "I need to urinate. It's been days since I've had one. I've sat in taverns--gods, how many taverns!--but never once have I gone to the bathroom."

If someone could post the link, I'd appreciate it.

::chuckle:: *I* do, much to the chagrin of my fellow players and the DM.

Me: "DM, what sort of foliage is around our encampment?"

DM: "wha?"

Me: "My character is checking out the trees around us."

DM: "Oh, ok, make a Wilderness Lore check."

Me: "A 22 - what does he learn?"

DM: "All normal foliage - green and leafy - nothing out of the ordinary."

Me: "great."

My character: "Nay, my companions, I cannot ride forth yet this fair morn, for I must heed nature's pristine call!"

Everyone: "Arrrrggghhh!"

LOL! (gotta love it...)

Yeah, we had a player who used to roleplay that. The other players all got suspicous when (s)he (guy playing a female character) would disappear for a few minutes all the time. Finally one time they followed her. Quite the surprise!

That was actually an interesting character. A druid with obsessive cleanliness. She carried around all these little perfumed soaps and stuff. Really weird. But interesting!

BTW, that article is funny, but pretty silly really. I mean, how many movie or book characters do you know that are shown "using the 'loo?" Although that bit about his companion's retarded name: that was pure genius. :D
