Movies: Nothing attracts me as of yet.

TV: Looking forward to the return of Monk. I am a History Channel fan and that is what I mostly view. Sci-Fi for Battle Star Galatica. Turner Classic Movies and AMC for the classic movies.

Last movie I watched was 2046. I did have some expectations after viewing In the Mood for Love but no worries now - I was satisfied. Christopher Doyle's cinematography is incredible and really enjoyed the score/soundtrack. There are only four movies which are to be seen immediately: Rainbow Thief, Eureka, Bakko Yokai Den Kibakichi, and Thriller. Looks like a pleasant late night.

I don't really watch TV regularly but I have been checking TCM for any noir and IFC on Sunday for Blind Swordsman. Other than that, I keep up with my weekly quota of Dr. Who.

We're kinda between stuff in the UK. Smallville's just finished (what a disappointment that season turned out to be), Doctor Who's done, Enterprise is about to finish.

I'm currently entertaining myself with Season 4 of Scrubs while I wait for the new series of Stargate SG1 and Deadwood. Not sure what else is coming on. Anyone know?

Pretty much the only things I watch on a regular basis on tv are Red Sox baseball, poker, and Justive League when I catch it.

Been chugging through the X-files on Netflix -- my goal has been to watch the entire run in order. I'm still only halfway through the second season. When I finish that season, I've got a few movies on tap -- Legend of the Drunken Master being one. I'm also going to get the run of Miracles which just came out on DVD recently, and although it's been pushed back, I still have Berzerk - the dark fantasy anime series after that. That'll probably still be going on as July ends. I'm also picking up some older movies that are classics but I never got around to watching at my public library while Netflix is shipping -- I just watched all three Sergio Leone spaghetti Westerns, and I've got Road Warrior checked out right now.

As for actual T.V. shows, I'm givine Empire a chance on Tuesday nights.

Movies: Not much. The last one I watched in the theatres was Star Wars EP 3. Most everything out now is a renter for me. At home I haven't had the time to watch a whole lot, but I did see Coach Carter and Hostage. I liked them both, but CC is a MUCH better movie.

TV: Family Guy, American Dad, and Notorious.

Kane

Movies: I just picked up on the two disk special edition of 'Near Dark' a great vampire flick from the 80's. If you haven't seen it check it out.

TV: getting caught up on the Doctor Who from this last season.

For TV, it's usually Teen Titans/Batman/JLU on Sat and... that's it until Lost comes back on. Sometimes I'll just come in and flip through things, in which case it's inevitable I'll get sucked into Modern Marvels, City Confidencial, or Emeril for a bit.

Movies, now... I've been to a lot this summer. I've hit pretty much every major genre release, plus Mr and Mrs Smith. Went to see Layer Cake at the art house place, and man was that terrific. Going to see Kontrol next week.

Netflix has delivered:

Boogeyman (better than I expected; I liked it)
Scrapped Princess: Vol. 1: Family Ties (Very good so far)
The Twelve Kingdoms: The God of the Sea in the East, the Mighty Ocean in the West: Vol. 10: Reverie
Gad Guard: Vol. 4: Collections
Andromeda: Season 1: Vol. 1: Disc 1 (Bleh)
Gantz: Vol. 1: Game of Death (Bleh; I might try the second disc)
E's Otherwise: Vol. 1: Operation Gald City (Eh, doubt I'll watch more of this)
The Hills Have Eyes
The Twelve Kingdoms: A Great Distance in the Wind, the Sky at Dawn: Vol. 9: Atonement
Drunken Master
Saw
Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law: Vol. 1: Disc 2 (unexpectedly funny)
Banner of the Stars: Vol. 1: No Turning Back (so.... boring....)
Heat Guy J: Vol. 2: Vampire's Ambition
Equilibrium

Also, I picked up South Park season 4; I've missed most of South Park since about the second season but from time to time I'd run across it and it would still be funny. I'm about halfway through it now, and so far the only episode I've seen previously is 'Something You Can Do With Your Finger'.
