June '10: What Are You Playing?

Since we don't have one of these for this month yet...

I've cut back on my playing since ordering a new computer (due to be delivered on Friday, June 11th), but I have been playing a lot of Left 4 Dead.

I have Left 4 Dead 2, but I didn't bother installing it on my old jalopy. It'll be one of the first things I install on the shiny new hotness.

Continuing my habit of playing almost everything I actually get around to playing a few months after it comes out, I just picked up Mass Effect 2 last week.

Hello ENWorld. What should I play next?

I have Red Dead Revolver and God of War III on loan from friends. Bayonetta, which I bought on a lark. Or maybe one of the games I never finished --ie I played for 20 minutes, noted it was cool, then promptly dropped in back onto the game-pile-- like Bioshock (is that bad to admit?).

Maybe I should save up and buy more free time!

LfD1/2, PoP the Forgotten Sands, I was playing Metastasis yesterday until it hung up on me (a HL2 mod). Not sure what single player game I'll move onto next, though I should finish Heavy Rain.

Why not? It's required and recommended system specs are virtually identical to the original games and you were playing that.

Because I would get to play it for about a week before having to reinstall it on the new machine. So, I figured I would just play the first one until I get the new system, then enjoy the second game. It's not like I can play both of them at the same time, anyway.

That's similar to my problem. I have the dual issue off too many games that I've played for about 10 hours and never touched again on top of games I've never even taken the shrinkwrap off.

o.k. for some reason I was thinking you had it for a while already and were holding off.

Of late I've actually been playing the first game more, or at least have been more interested in playing it (a couple of my friends only have two, so I can only play with them if it's that one).

While I like the additions to the second game, I prefer the campaigns from the first game, here's to hoping the ports fans made are good.

I'm playing Red Dead Redemption at the moment. I've got the bad habit of trying a new game, then seeing something else and trying that, before finishing the first game. Consquently, I have several unfinished games to get to after this one....
