-Knowledge: Djarkar Buck in Spitting Form, Medium natural beast shapechanger; Level 6 Controller (Leader); has resistance to Poison damage and has a bonus to overcome ongoing damage.
-In his Spitting Form, the Buck's attacks place bile on the target that can give temporary hit points to other djarkar that hit the target with melee attacks.
-When the Buck is bloodied or most of his pack is in their Frenzied Form, he changes to his Aggressive Form [Level 6 Brute (Leader)].
-In his Aggressive Form, charge attacks are more damaging to enemies that are adjacent to him.
-Knowledge: Djarkar Doe in Watcher Form, Medium natural beast shapechanger; Level 6 Lurker; has resistance to Poison damage and has a bonus to overcome ongoing damage.
-In her Watcher Form, the Doe's attacks are more damaging to targets that damage her Buck.
-When the Buck is killed, the Doe changes to her Enraged Form [Level 6 Soldier].
-In her Enraged Form, the Doe marks the enemy that killed her Buck until the end of the encounter and that enemy takes more damage from her attacks.
-All Djarkar continue to be dangerous in death and frequently require a second killing blow.
-Still hanging upside down from the vines above, the Djarkar Buck spins around and bites at Izera with it's mandibles and bile filled mouth inflicting 1 point of damage and 5 ongoing acid damage until the end Izera's next turn. Then the Buck backs upward [shifts 1 square] through the leaves.
-Turn Summary:
-None of the Djarkar are bloodied.
-Djarkar Buck is Oathed by Izera and has a -8 penalty to his damage rolls.
-Izera and Adaka are under the effect of their Radiant Bond power until the end of their coming turn. Adaka has not been hurt and Izera has 36 hit points. Izera has ongoing 5 acid damage until the end of her coming turn.
-XX is bloodied with 11 hit points and YY has 33 hit points. Both have a +2 power bonus to all defenses until the end of the encounter.
I'm going to repeat this in an email: We are going to use inherent bonuses in addition to treasure parcels. This will keep your bonuses and defenses up to a certain minimum. At 3rd level, you should have at least a +1 enhancement bonus to all attack and damage rolls and you should inflict at least 1d6 extra damage on a crit.
Izera grunts as the doe comes charging into her, grazed by the beast's attack, but uses the momentum of the beast to swing herself toward the buck. With a mighty cry, she crosses the intervening distance, her hands coming easily back to her scythe's well worn leather-wrapped haft. She knows in her heart that Lauka will guide her, and she makes no plans to catch herself. Her scythe cries for fresh blood...
-Move: Athletics check to swing up to the level and in melee range with the buck.
-Standard: Sequestering Strike. If hit, the buck and I will be teleported to ground level (roughly beneath where we are now).
OOC:
Assuming 11 is enough to at least get me moving towards the buck, even if I would fall after the attack, my 29 (even with a -2 from concealment) should still hit.
Izera's blade hits, and in that moment of absolution, she calls down her deity's aid...
...and stands facing the buck down in her world, "You cannot outrun your shadow."
OOC:
Izera teleports the buck to AF17 and occupies AH17 herself, both at ground level on the path
Adaka
Adaka continues to move steadily towards the canopy where Izera disappeared. The sound of Inevitability tearing the air above is familiar, but also brings a sadness over him. Soon he will owe another soul a prayer. Soon he will lay another life to rest. His will is bent on the buck, high above, and maintaining the divine connection to Lauka, but his thoughts are grey and sad.
-Double move, 10 towards the fray.
-Minor: Sustain Astral Condemnation.
When Izera appears with the buck in tow, Adaka's mood is burned away and replaced with joy. He cannot help but feel buoyed by his wife's spirit. Though she is a grim artist, she takes pride in the strokes of her brush.
OOC:
I actually thought Adaka was closer to the fight already, and so his entire turn couldn't go off as planned. I guess next round he'll have more to do. Bummer.
As Izera's blade slashes the Buck's side open, it howls in pain and drops to all fours on the ground. The Buck's body swells changes into a bulky feline form.
Djarkar J Turn 3:
OOC:
DJ1 and DJ2 attack XX and DJ3 and DJ4 attack YY. All attacks miss.
